Sandra Stoycheva studied Graphics at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia between 2000 and 2002. She graduated in Graphic Design, 2008 and Visual Arts in 2011 at Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. In 2011 she won first prize of the public with the work "Sand Clock" in the competition for talent of the year, part of the STRP festival, Eindhoffen, the Netherlands. She has participated in many artistic projects in the Netherlands, Austria and Bulgaria, including a kinetic décor for a famous theatrical production in Amsterdam. Her „Stone Wave“ installation was bought from the exhibition "So Close, So Far" in 2012 and donated to the National Gallery in Sofia for the collection of contemporary Bulgarian art.
